What happens during a liposuction procedure?  Liposuction is a procedure that permanently removes targeted fat from your body through suction under local anesthesia. Dr. Miles has extensive training as a member of the American Society of Liposuction Surgeons, providing the most advanced liposuction techniques.

Which areas are most common for liposuction?  Dr. Miles can perform a liposuction procedure almost anywhere on your body if you have stubborn fatty deposits. Some of the most common liposuction areas include:

Many patients have entrusted Dr. Miles with sculpting their body shape. Dr. Miles specializes in contouring the Spanish waistline sculpting an hourglass figure.

When can I go back to work after liposuction?  The length of time you have to refrain from activities depends on how you heal.  Most patients are able to get up and move around the house the same day as surgery, but you should expect to stay home and recover for a few days. You can go back to work and your normal activities as soon as you feel ready.  While recovering, we advise our patients to wear a compression garment for 4-6 weeks to aid in the healing process to achieve the most favorable results from your procedure.
