Breast Rejuvenation: Do You Fit the Profile?

Have you ever looked at your body and wished you could just rearrange a few things -- borrowing from one area for the benefit of another? Then breast rejuvenation might be just the thing you’re looking for.

For clients who want to boost or even out their breasts, Dr. Robert Miles at Tampa Bay Body Sculpting offers a unique procedure that takes fat from where you don’t want it and transfers it to where you do. This ingenious solution has helped his patients achieve the profiles they desire without the commitment of a surgical procedure.

To see whether you fit the profile for a breast rejuvenation treatment, read on to see what we can, and can’t, accomplish.

What breast rejuvenation is

There are many reasons our clients come to us to for a breast rejuvenation. In many cases, the after effects of having children or losing weight have resulted in less shapely or uneven breasts. Some women are born with uneven breasts and want to bring them more in line with one another. Others just want to add a little volume for a curvier profile.

Whatever the reason, breast rejuvenation might provide the perfect answer. In this procedure, Dr. Miles harvests fat from areas where you have some to spare -- usually around your thighs, buttocks, or abdomen. He accomplishes this through liposuction.

With liposuction, Dr. Miles uses a small tube that he inserts through tiny incisions to loosen and vacuum out fat. After processing the removed fat, he injects it into your breasts to add volume.

This technique is a great win-win combination, as fat is reduced from a problem area and added to another for the ultimate body sculpting.

What breast rejuvenation isn’t

While breast rejuvenation offers fantastic results, they aren’t dramatic. If you want to gain more than a cup size, for example, a breast augmentation with implants is the better route. And while the liposuction Dr. Miles uses is effective in resculpting stubborn pockets of fat, it shouldn’t be viewed as a weight loss solution.

Also falling in the “what it isn’t” category is the fact that breast augmentation is a great way to avoid more invasive breast reshaping surgeries. With a breast rejuvenation, Dr. Miles is able to precisely place your own fat into your breasts without the need for incisions of any kind. This means that you don’t have the scarring, downtime, or risks associated with an implant or lift.

As a bonus, this procedure re-introduces something (fat) that’s already part of your body’s landscape, so your body readily accepts the injections and the fat settles into place nicely.

The big reveal

Since your road to rounder, fuller breasts during a fat transferral isn’t a surgical procedure, your new profile is ready to be revealed far sooner. Typically, you notice results almost immediately, but you need to wait a few weeks as the fat takes on its final form and the skin around it accommodates the new shape.

In fact, your breasts recover far faster than your liposuction areas, which require a bit of TLC for a few weeks afterward, during which time you should expect to wear a compression garment and take it easy.

Still, even with the combined procedures, you’re able to reveal your new figure far more quickly than you would for most other breast augmentation techniques.
